The Fund Shuffle: Private Wealth Advisors Q3 2020 vs. Q4 2020 13F Holdings Comparison

Private Wealth Advisors, Inc., a U.S.-based investment firm, has recently released its Q3 2020 vs. Q4 2020 13F Holdings Comparison report. The 13F report is a quarterly filing required by the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission) that must be submitted by institutional investment managers with over $100 million in assets under management.
The report summarizes the changes in holdings of funds from these institutional investment managers, including stocks, bonds, and options. In this blog post, we will be taking a closer look at Private Wealth Advisors' 13F report and provide our insights into the changes in their portfolio.
The report reveals that in Q4 2020, Private Wealth Advisors increased their holdings in several large-cap companies, such as Apple Inc., Alphabet Inc., and InvESCO QQQ TR. Their holdings in Apple Inc. rose by 17.4% to 150,104 shares, and the value of their holdings increased from $16.968 million in Q3 2020 to $19.917 million in Q4 2020.
However, there were also some decreases in holdings. Private Wealth Advisors' holdings in Amazon.com Inc. decreased by 1% to 3,197 shares, and the value of their holdings fell from $10.517 million in Q3 2020 to $10.414 million in Q4 2020.
It's interesting to note that despite holding fewer shares in Walmart Inc., the value of their holdings decreased significantly from $5.179 million in Q3 2020 to $4.692 million in Q4 2020. On the other hand, their holdings in Novo Nordisk A/S increased by 122.7% to 38,150 shares, and the value of their holdings increased from $1.186 million in Q3 2020 to $1.734 million in Q4 2020.
Private Wealth Advisors also increased their holdings in several financial companies, such as PNC Financial Services Group Inc. and JPMorgan Chase & Co. Their holdings in PNC increased by 31.1% to 25,979 shares, and the value of their holdings rose from $2.953 million in Q3 2020 to $3.871 million in Q4 2020. At the same time, their holdings in JPMorgan Chase & Co. increased by 61.3% to 10,025 shares, and the value of their holdings increased from $0.79 million in Q3 2020 to $1.274 million in Q4 2020.
Moreover, Private Wealth Advisors' holdings in several healthcare companies, such as Johnson & Johnson and Merck & Co. Inc., also changed. Their holdings in Johnson & Johnson rose by 4.5% to 20,803 shares, and the value of their holdings increased from $3.133 million in Q3 2020 to $3.274 million in Q4 2020. On the other hand, their holdings in Merck & Co. Inc. decreased by 33.9% to 11,955 shares, and the value of their holdings fell from $1.480 million in Q3 2020 to $0.978 million in Q4 2020.
In conclusion, Private Wealth Advisors, Inc. has made some significant changes to its holdings in the last quarter of 2020. As investment managers, they continue to adjust their portfolios based on market conditions and their clients' investment objectives.
