Gracie Gottlieb | 18 January, 2024
Fenix Parts, a leading recycler and reseller of automotive parts, has announced the completion of its acquisition of Stafford's Auto Parts in Montgomery, Illinois. This strategic move marks Fenix Parts' seventh acquisition in the Midwest and brings its total location count to 25 full-service and 5 self-service locations.
The acquisition of Stafford's Auto Parts will allow Fenix Parts to enhance its presence in the Chicago market, the largest metropolitan area in the Midwest. By leveraging its existing distribution network and the addition of Stafford's experienced team, Fenix Parts aims to strengthen its position in the region and further expand its Midwest footprint.
Bill Stevens, CEO of Fenix Parts, expressed his excitement about the acquisition, stating, "We are pleased to announce the acquisition of Stafford's and excited about the addition of its experienced and talented team to the Fenix family. This acquisition continues our Midwest footprint expansion westward and leverages our existing distribution network."
He further added, "With a location servicing the Chicago market, Fenix gains distribution access to the Midwest's largest metropolitan area and the ability to leverage our 75+ acres of Midwest full-service production capacity."
Stafford's Auto Parts has been in the auto recycling business for nearly 50 years, and their expertise and knowledge will be valuable assets to Fenix Parts as it continues to grow in the Midwest region.
