Investment Firm Lagoda Releases Q3 and Q4 2022 Holdings Comparison Report

Investment firm Lagoda Investment Management, L.P. recently released its Q3 and Q4 2022 holdings comparison report. The report outlines the changes in holdings of funds in Q3 and Q4 2022, including the shares, value, and change percentage of each issuer.
The report shows that Texas Pacific Land Corporation (TPL) saw an 18.5% decrease in shares, going from 20,463 in Q3 to 18,381 in Q4. Meanwhile, Digimarc Corp New (DMRC) saw a 53% increase in shares, bringing its total to 603,395 in Q4 from 538,090 in Q3.
VolitionRX Ltd (VNRX) also saw a significant increase of 106%, going from 3,256,745 shares in Q3 to 3,755,045 shares in Q4. GXO Logistics Incorporated (GXO), on the other hand, had a 47.1% increase in shares, with a total of 187,185 shares in Q4 from 154,945 shares in Q3.
Not all stocks saw positive changes, though. UBIQUITI Inc (UI) had a 34.7% decrease in shares, going from 24,445 in Q3 to 17,125 in Q4. Furthermore, Brookfield Asset Mgmt Inc (BKAA.SG) had a significant decrease in shares of 56.1%, from 18,065 in Q3 to 10,315 in Q4.
In terms of value, Berkshire Hathaway Inc Del (BRK-A) had a 15.3% increase, totalling $937,000 in Q4 from $813,000 in Q3. Meanwhile, CME Group Inc (CME) had a staggering 89.4% decrease in value, going from $638,000 in Q3 to $67,000 in Q4.
Other noteworthy changes include Brigham Minerals Inc (2TQ.HA) having a 100% decrease in shares, down to zero in Q4 from 19,465 in Q3. Finally, Rivian Automotive Inc (RIVN) had a 39.9% decrease in value, falling from $46,000 in Q3 to $27,000 in Q4.
In summary, the Q3 and Q4 comparison report released by Lagoda Investment Management, L.P. provides insights into the changes in holdings of funds for these publicly traded companies. It's interesting to see the contrasting performances of each company during these two quarters.
