Oxland Group Creates New Master-Planned Community in Montgomery County, Texas
Gracie Gottlieb | 20 July, 2023
The Oxland Group, a Texas-based residential development company, has recently acquired 1,860 acres of land in Montgomery County to create a new master-planned community. This development will be a flagship project for Oxland Group and aims to reflect the heritage of Montgomery County while supporting its future growth. With approximately 4,000 homes planned, the community will provide a variety of housing options for residents. The strategic location of the property, along with planned infrastructure improvements, will facilitate easy access to nearby employment opportunities, entertainment venues, shopping centers, schools, and hospitals. The acquisition of this premier land marks a significant milestone in the future development of the Oxland Group's master-planned community.
The location of the property, north of FM 1488 and west of Fish Creek Thoroughfare, has been an underdeveloped area due to a lack of infrastructure. However, with the implementation of a new bridge and east-west roadway, the future residents of this community will experience the convenience of easy connections to neighboring areas such as The Woodlands, Magnolia, and Conroe. This development will not only benefit the residents but will also have positive implications for the Montgomery Independent School District, reducing bus routes by up to 30 miles and improving emergency vehicle access.
Tom Woliver, co-president of Oxland Group, expressed excitement about leading the development of this beautiful property. The company aims to create a community that fulfills the growing need for a variety of housing options and reflects the unique character of Montgomery County. The acquisition of the land from Regent Properties, a well-established real estate investment management and development firm, marks a significant milestone for the Oxland Group and showcases their commitment to creating exceptional residential communities.
