S&Co Inc Reveals Q3 & Q4 2022 Holdings Comparison in Latest Report

S&Co Inc Q3 2022 vs. Q4 2022 13F Holdings Comparison
S&Co, a company with a long-standing reputation in the investment industry, has released its Q3 2022 and Q4 2022 13F holdings comparison report. The report provides an insight into the changes that have occurred in the company's holdings between these two periods.
The report includes a list of 50 companies in which S&Co has invested, along with the option type, the number of shares held in Q3 2022 and Q4 2022, the value of the shares in each quarter, and the percentage change in holdings. The companies range from Church and Dwight Co. Inc. to International Business Machine Corp.
One of the interesting trends in the report is the increase in holdings in some companies, such as Church and Dwight Co. Inc. (CHD). The report shows that S&Co increased its holdings in CHD by just 146 shares, but the value of these shares increased from $47,078,000 in Q3 2022 to $53,132,000 in Q4 2022 – a change of 12.9%. It's worth noting that this increase occurred during a difficult time, when market conditions were challenging due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Another interesting trend is the decrease in holdings in some companies, such as Mosaic Co. (MOS). S&Co reduced its holdings in MOS by 1,136 shares, which led to a decrease in value from $57,479,000 in Q3 2022 to $51,599,000 in Q4 2022 – a reduction of 10.2%. The report shows that this decrease was in line with S&Co's goal to optimize its holdings and improve its returns.
Some of the other companies that experienced substantial changes in holdings were Caterpillar Inc. (CAT), whose holdings increased by 45.1%, and Air Products & Chemicals Inc. (APD), whose holdings increased by 29.2%. Meanwhile, companies such as Alphabets Inc. Class C (GOOG) and Airbnb Inc. (ABNB) saw their holdings decrease by 8.4% and 18.6%, respectively.
The report also shows that S&Co made several new investments during Q4 2022. For example, the company invested in Prosus NV – Sponsored ADR, with 935,407 shares valued at $9,890,000.
Overall, the S&Co Q3 2022 and Q4 2022 13F holdings comparison report provides a helpful glimpse into the changes that occurred in the company's holdings during this period. It shows that despite a challenging market environment, S&Co was able to make strategic moves and optimize its holdings to improve its returns.
