Jennison Associates LLC Q4 2022 vs. Q1 2023: A Look at the Top Holdings

The latest 13F filings are out, and it's time to take a closer look at the top holdings of Jennison Associates LLC for Q4 2022 and Q1 2023. Jennison Associates LLC is a New York-based investment management firm with over $188 billion in assets under management.
Microsoft takes the top spot in both quarters, with an increase in shares of over 12%. Apple comes in second, with a slight decrease in shares, but still holding strong in the top three. Nvidia jumps up to the third spot, with a substantial increase in shares of over 10%.
Amazon saw a decrease in shares but still manages to remain in the top five. Tesla continues to climb, with an increase in shares of over 7%.
Lilly Eli & Co saw a significant decrease in shares, dropping out of the top ten holdings. Visa and Mastercard both remained in the top ten but with only minor changes in shares. Alphabet Inc, on the other hand, saw a significant decrease in shares, dropping six spots to the ninth position.
Novo-Nordisk A S climbed five spots to the thirteenth position, with an increase in shares of over 7%. UnitedHealth Group Inc saw a significant decrease in shares, dropping fifteen spots to the nineteenth position.
Airbnb Inc saw a substantial increase in shares, climbing twelve spots to the twenty-ninth position. SalesForce Inc saw a significant increase in shares, climbing five spots to the twenty-first position.
Goldman Sachs Group Inc saw a significant decrease in shares, dropping thirty-two spots to the forty-ninth position. McDonald's Corp also saw a decrease in shares, dropping six spots to the fifty-sixth position.
Overall, Jennison Associates LLC continues to hold strong positions in many top-performing companies, with some repositioning in the top ten holdings. It will be interesting to see how these holdings develop over the coming quarters and if any new companies make their way into the top holdings.
