As another year comes and goes, investors and analysts alike gear up to assess the performances of various investment firms and companies. One such assessment involves analyzing the 13F holdings of MYDA Advisors LLC in Q3 2022 compared to Q4 2022. While some changes were expected, the extent of some of the alterations may surprise even seasoned professionals.
One of the most significant changes in MYDA Advisors LLC's holdings involves the company Light & Wonder Inc (LNW). Although the number of shares remained consistent between the two quarters, the value of these shares increased by 36.7%, from $8,147,000 to $11,134,000. Another notable adjustment is with Pure Cycle Corp (PCYO). During the Q4 quarter, MYDA Advisors LLC increased its number of shares by 426,734, resulting in a 169.7% increase in the value of those shares.
Some companies experienced significant reductions in their holdings. Prologis Inc. (PLD) saw a drop in the number of shares from 60,000 to 47,000. This reduction resulted in a 13.1% decrease in the value of shares during Q4 compared to Q3. Additionally, MYDA Advisors LLC reduced its holdings in the company Turtle Beach Corp (HEAR) by 70.1%. While the company had 259,400 shares in Q3, that number dropped to 74,840 by Q4.
