Q3 to Q4 2022 13F Holdings Comparison: Fox Run Management, L.L.C.'s Significant Changes in Holdings

However, things changed significantly in Q4 2022. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF TR was still the top holding, but the number of shares had decreased to 11101, and the value had decreased to $4245. The iShares TR also saw a decrease in the number of shares, with 23759 shares valued at $4142. The Select Sector SPDR TR, though, saw a significant increase in the number of shares held, with 31500 shares valued at $2755.
The changes in holdings weren't only limited to the top three holdings, however. The fund also made some significant changes to their holdings in individual companies. Let's take a closer look at some of them.
One company that saw a massive increase in the number of shares held was Extreme Networks. In Q3 2022, Fox Run Management had 18985 shares in the company, valued at $248. In Q4 2022, they increased their holdings to 59550 shares, valued at $1090 – a whopping 339.7% increase.
Another company that saw a significant increase in holdings was Nevro Corp, with 13954 shares in Q3 2022 valued at $650. In Q4 2022, the number of shares held had increased to 26963, with a value of $1067 – a 64.3% increase.
On the other hand, there were some companies that saw a significant decrease in the number of shares held. For example, the fund sold all their holdings in Sanmina Corporation and Eastman Chem Co. Further, they sold their holdings in Regency Ctrs Corp and Conagra Brands Inc.
One notable decrease in holdings was in Comerica Inc, where the number of shares held went from 20356 in Q3 2022, valued at $1447, to 11914 shares in Q4 2022, valued at $796 – a decrease of 45%.
In conclusion, analyzing a fund's holdings can give us valuable insights into their investment strategy and market outlook. Fox Run Management, L.L.C. made significant changes to their holdings in Q4 2022, moving away from some companies while increasing their holdings in others. As investors, it's essential to keep an eye on these changes to make informed decisions about where to invest our money.
