Minerva Advisors LLC has recently released their Q3 and Q4 2022 13F holdings comparison report, detailing the changes in holdings for each issuer in their portfolio. While there were a few major shifts, the overall changes were relatively minor. Let's take a look at some of the highlights.
In the Q3 2022 report, Minerva Advisors LLC held 44 companies in their portfolio. By the end of Q4 2022, the number of companies held remained the same. However, there were some notable changes in the size of their holdings.
One major change was in their holdings of Great Lakes Dredge & Dock Co (GLDD). In Q3 2022, Minerva Advisors LLC held 1,006,540 shares of GLDD, which had a value of $7,629,000. However, by the end of Q4 2022, their holdings had increased to 1,175,298 shares, with a value of $6,981,000. This represents a decrease in value of 8.5%.
Another major change was in their holdings of InfuSystem Holdings Inc (INFU). In Q3 2022, Minerva Advisors LLC held 846,851 shares of INFU, with a value of $8,129,000. However, by the end of Q4 2022, their holdings had decreased to 846,851 shares, with a value of $7,351,000. This represents a decrease in value of 9.6%.
There were also some notable increases in their holdings. For example, their holdings of Astronics Corp (ATRO) increased from 434,877 shares to 463,105 shares, representing an increase of 6.5%. Their holdings of US Lime & Mineral Inc (USLM) increased from 42,817 shares to 38,518 shares, representing an increase of 23%.
Aside from these changes, the majority of their holdings remained relatively stable. However, it's worth noting that their holdings in some companies significantly decreased or were completely sold off. For example, their holdings of Lumos Pharma Inc (LUMO) decreased from 34,015 shares to 0 shares. Their holdings of Northeast Community Bancorp Inc (NECB) were completely sold off, with no shares held by the end of Q4 2022.
Overall, the shift in holdings for Minerva Advisors LLC was relatively minor, with some gains and losses in specific companies. It will be interesting to see how their holdings change in the next report and what investment strategies they employ moving forward.
