This resulted in an increase in the value of these holdings from $12.0 million to $16.1 million, a substantial increase of 33.6%.
One of the most significant changes in the CSV data is related to Viemed Healthcare, Inc. (VMD.TO). The fund held 854,875 shares in both Q3 and Q4 2022, resulting in no change in the number of shares held. However, the value of these holdings increased from $5.1 million to $6.5 million, an increase of 26.3%. Moreover, the fund also acquired an additional 1.07 million shares of VMD.TO in Q4 2022, resulting in a total of 1.21 million shares with a value of $6.5 million.
Another company in which the fund acquired a substantial number of shares was Apollo Endosurgery, Inc. (APEN). The fund held 830,097 shares of APEN in Q3 2022, and this increased to 786,809 shares in Q4 2022. This resulted in a significant increase in the value of these holdings from $4.57 million to $7.84 million, an increase of 71.5%.
On the other hand, the fund significantly reduced its holdings of LivePerson, Inc. (LPSN) from 1.03 million shares to 885,577 shares, a decrease of 14%. This resulted in a decline in the value of these holdings from $9.72 million to $8.98 million, a decrease of 7.6%.
Additionally, the fund also reduced its holdings of PowerFleet, Inc. (PWFL) from 1.58 million shares to 1.58 million shares, a decrease of 0.02%. However, the value of these holdings decreased from $4.87 million to $4.25 million, a decrease of 12.7%.
In summary, the AWM Investment Company, Inc.'s holdings changed significantly between Q3 and Q4 2022. The fund increased its holdings in some companies, such as ADMA Biologics, Inc., Genasys, Inc., and Viemed Healthcare, Inc. However, it reduced its positions in some other companies such as LivePerson, Inc. and PowerFleet, Inc.
