Biondo Investment Advisors' Q3 and Q4 2022 13F Holdings Comparison: Notable Changes in Top Investments

Biondo Investment Advisors, LLC released its Q3 2022 and Q4 2022 13F holdings comparison, revealing significant changes in holdings for its investments. The report, which tracks the fund's top holdings in the form of shares and their respective values, also highlights the percentage change during the two respective quarters.
ISRG, Intuitive Surgical Inc., saw a minor decrease in shares, going from 141,780 to 140,490, but a notable increase in value, jumping from $26,575,000 to $37,279,000, representing a 40.3% change. Meanwhile, Apple Inc. (AAPL) experienced the inverse effect, with a decrease in shares from 280,274 to 273,915, and a notable drop in value, from $38,734,000 to $35,589,000, representing an 8.1% change.
Biondo Investment Advisors also increased its presence in Mastercard Incorporated (MA), increasing its share count from 74,491 to 73,887 but producing a higher value from $21,181,000 to $25,692,000 or a 21.3% increase. Another notable increase was in Idexx Laboratories Inc. (IDXX), with share count dropping from 47,324 to 44,893, but a notable jump in value, increasing from $15,418,000 to $18,314,000 or an 18.8% change.
In contrast, the fund reduced its holdings in Alphabet Inc. Cap Stk (GOOGL), bringing down its share count from 190,850 to 188,650, and dropping in value from $18,255,000 to $16,644,000 or an 8.8% change. Multi-national oil giant Exxon Mobil Corp (XOM) experienced similar effects, with share count dropping from 151,448 to 144,883, but value increasing from $13,360,000 to $16,117,000, representing a 20.6% change.
Biondo Investment Advisors increased its stake in Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) with a minor increase in share count from 50,571 to 49,911 but a notable jump in value from $8,317,000 to $8,872,000 or a 6.7% change. In contrast, holdings decreased in Amazon Com Inc (AMZN), with a sharp drop in share count from 107,765 to 90,065, and a considerable value decrease from $12,177,000 to $7,565,000 or a massive 37.9% change.
