In contrast, Advisory Services increased its investment in Microsoft from 212,787 shares in Q3 2022 to 219,503 shares in Q4 2022, an increase of 6.2%. The value of the investment in Microsoft also increased from $49,558 in Q3 to $52,641 in Q4, representing a 6.2% increase in value.
Advisory Services also made changes to its investment in Amazon. While the investment firm had 390,024 shares of the e-commerce giant in Q3, it reduced its position to 406,981 shares in Q4, a decrease of 4.3%. The value of its investment in Amazon also fell from $44,073 in Q3 to $34,186 in Q4, representing a decline of 22.4%.
Another notable change was in Advisory Services' investment in ConocoPhillips. In Q3, the firm owned 102,384 shares of the oil and gas company, but it increased its position to 110,706 shares in Q4, an increase of 8.1%. The value of the investment in ConocoPhillips also increased from $10,479 in Q3 to $13,063 in Q4, representing a 24.7% increase in value.
Overall, Advisory Services Network, LLC made several changes to its holdings in Q4 2022, selling shares in some companies and buying others. While the firm increased its position in some major companies like Apple and Microsoft, it reduced its position in Amazon. These changes may signal the firm's outlook on the market and could influence other investors to make similar moves.
