Blue Point Capital Partners and its portfolio company, TAS Environmental Services (TAS), have announced the acquisition of Environmental Concepts & Services (ECS). This strategic move allows TAS to expand its waste management capabilities and strengthen its position in the environmental services sector.
ECS is a family-owned company based in Springfield, Tennessee, that specializes in waste transportation, non-hazardous waste treatment and disposal, and other industrial services. With over 20 years of experience, ECS has provided comprehensive waste management services to companies in the manufacturing and specialty chemical industries. The company is known for its eco-conscious practices, professionalism, integrity, and commitment to customer satisfaction.
TAS, headquartered in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, is a leading provider of specialized environmental and industrial services in the Southern United States. The acquisition of ECS aligns well with TAS's culture, vision, and commitment to customer service and satisfaction. It enhances TAS's operations by adding additional wastewater and waste treatment capabilities to its service offerings. This partnership supports TAS's mission of being the provider of choice in the environmental services sector.
This acquisition marks TAS's fifth since partnering with Blue Point in 2019. With the support of Blue Point, TAS will continue to expand its waste management capabilities and pursue well-aligned opportunities in the future.
The collaboration between Blue Point, TAS, and ECS is part of a value creation strategy to expand the platform's footprint and capabilities through strategic mergers and acquisitions. The goal is to provide excellent service while creating organic value. Blue Point is honored to work alongside the TAS and ECS teams to foster their ongoing success.
ECS serves customers across Tennessee, Kentucky, Alabama, Georgia, and Indiana, offering waste transportation and disposal as well as other industrial and remedial services. TAS, on the other hand, provides specialized environmental and industrial services across the Southern United States, with special projects available coast to coast. TAS's comprehensive services include industrial cleaning, hydro blasting, waste transportation and disposal, emergency response, tank cleaning, box rental, pipeline maintenance, and remediation.
