Envestnet Asset Management Q3 vs. Q4 2022: A Look at Fund Holdings Changes

Envestnet Asset Management, a provider of wealth management technology and services, recently released its Q3 and Q4 2022 13F filings. These filings disclose Envestnet's holdings in various funds, giving insight into how the company's portfolio has changed over time.

Another interesting development is the increase in Envestnet's holdings in VANGUARD BD INDEX FDS (BSV) from 63,237,117 to 64,995,941 shares. This increase represents a 3.4% change and is part of a broader trend of Envestnet increasing its exposure to bond funds.

Likewise, Envestnet increased its holdings in ISHARES TR (IUSB) from 85,277,313 to 100,358,355 shares, representing an 18.8% increase in value from $3,794,840 to $4,509,100. This increase in IUSB holdings is part of a broader trend of Envestnet increasing its exposure to fixed-income securities.

However, not all of Envestnet's holdings saw gains. Holdings in ISHARES TR (ESGU) decreased from 59,456,787 shares to 53,136,216 shares, representing a 4.6% decrease in value from $4,721,463 to $4,503,294.

Another surprising shift in holdings came from ISHARES TR (MBB), where Envestnet's holdings increased from 11,073,399 to 24,748,635 shares. This represents a massive 126.4% increase in value from $1,014,102 to $2,295,435.
