Hypergiant Industries Partners With Trive Capital

Artificial intelligence (AI) defense platform and solutions company, Hypergiant Industries, has announced a partnership with Trive Capital, a Dallas-based private equity firm. The acquisition of Hypergiant Industries by Trive Capital will complement its current portfolio company, Forward Slope. This partnership aims to secure America's defenses by leveraging next-generation, AI-enabled technology solutions across all military domains and critical infrastructure.

Over the past five years, Hypergiant Industries has become a leader in AI-enabled, cloud-based command-and-control technologies and deployed solutions. One of their notable creations is CommandCenter, a world-class core geospatial data visualization and actions platform. This platform not only ingests large amounts of information but also applies real-time threat analysis and AI-generated recommendations, delivering intelligent insights and actions in all domains. Hypergiant Industries has received several innovation awards for their AI-enabled defense solutions and is focused on scaling their joint all-domain spatial intelligence and actionable CommandCenter software package.

David Stinnett, Partner at Trive Capital, expressed excitement about the partnership, highlighting Hypergiant's geospatial data visualization capability and its ability to rapidly deliver actionable insights to the warfighter in an increasingly complex battlespace. Trive Capital aims to support Hypergiant Industries in its next phase of growth and formalize a longer-term partnership with Forward Slope.

In addition to their defense solutions, Hypergiant Industries has gained market recognition for other AI-enabled projects such as the Hypergiant Eos Bioreactor, Hypergiant Project Orion, the Hypergiant Disaster Mapping System, the Hypergiant Chameleon prototype constellation, and Project ARGUS. These innovations expand the company's capabilities and contribute to its common operating platform.

Hypergiant Industries' select customers include the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, the Department of Homeland Security, NASA, the U.S. Army, the National Reconnaissance Office, Boeing, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

Hypergiant Industries was founded in 2018 by Ben Lamm with the goal of bringing an AI-enabled approach to advanced visual multimodal for organizations in space, defense, and critical infrastructure. With over 150 employees and contractors, the company's investors include lead investor Align Capital, GPG, Perot Jain, Beringer Capital, and Capital Factory. This acquisition follows Hypergiant's recent expanded $60M+ contract award from the U.S. Air Force for its command-and-control platform offering.
