On the other side, Acropolis drastically decreased their investment in VANGUARD SCOTTSDALE FDS shares (VGSH) from Q4 2022 to Q1 2023. In Q4 2022, they held 751,833 VGSH shares, which decreased to 228,707 VGSH shares in Q1 2023, reflecting a -69.2% change. The value of these shares decreased from $43,470,000 to $13,388,000. VGSH is an exchange-traded fund that invests in U.S. government bonds with maturities between one and three years.
Finally, Acropolis acquired new holdings of ELEVANCE HEALTH INC (ELV) in Q1 2023. They purchased 3,285 ELV shares, which were valued at $1,794,000. ELV is a healthcare company that operates a network of hospitals and clinics across the United States.
In conclusion, Acropolis Investment Management, LLC made some interesting changes in their portfolio between Q4 2022 and Q1 2023. Their investments in VOO, BND, and IJR increased, while their investment in VGSH decreased significantly. Additionally, they acquired a new holding in ELV.
