Investment Insights: Youngs Advisory Group's Q3-Q4 2022 Holdings Comparison

Youngs Advisory Group, Inc. has released its Q3-Q4 2022 holdings comparison report, which highlights some interesting trends in the firm's investment portfolio. AIR PRODS & CHEMS INC (APD) also saw an increase in value of 22.7% from Q3 2022 ($15,456,000) to Q4 2022 ($18,963,000). This was despite a decrease in shares held from 66,412 to 61,516.

The largest percentage increase in shares held was in GLOBAL X FDS (PFFD), which jumped by 93.4% from 285,799 shares in Q3 2022 to 552,507 shares in Q4 2022. This resulted in an 82.6% increase in value from $5,862,000 to $10,702,000.

In contrast, ISHARES TR (PFF) and VANGUARD STAR FDS (VXUS) saw the largest decrease in shares held and value. PFF shares dropped by 53.4% from 291,039 in Q3 2022 to 136,554 in Q4 2022, while VXUS shares fell by 49.8% from 149,044 to 74,758. The value of these shares also decreased by 54.8% and 43.3% respectively, further dragging down the fund's overall performance.

Other companies that saw a decrease in shares held and value were FIRST TR EXCHANGE-TRADED FD (FDIV) and ORASURE TECHNOLOGIES INC (OSUR), falling by 39.4% and 62.5%, respectively. Meanwhile, JACOBS SOLUTIONS INC (J) and COCA COLA CO (KO) appeared to be new additions to the portfolio in Q4 2022.

Overall, the report showed Youngs Advisory Group's investment team to be active in making portfolio changes. Some of these changes positively impacted the fund's performance, such as with IXUS, while others negatively impacted performance, such as with PFF and VXUS. Investors may want to closely monitor the fund's performance going forward to see if these trends continue.
