Polaris Capital Management, LLC, an Indiana-based investment manager, has recently released its latest 13F filings indicating changes in its holdings from Q4 2022 (October 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022) to Q1 2023 (January 1, 2023, to March 31, 2023). The 13F filings provide insights into the investment manager's fund holdings, which are worth $100 million or more, and provide valuable information on the investor's latest investment decisions.
The financial data represented in the 13F filing showed the number of shares and the value of the shares held by Polaris Capital in various companies. The filings also indicate that Polaris Capital reduced its holdings in stocks such as CVS, WEBSTER FINANCIAL CORP - CT, NEXTERA ENERGY INC, and many more.
On the other hand, the investment manager raised its interest in stocks like SALLY BEAUTY HOLDINGS INC by 23.6%, valued at approximately $40 million, and MKS INSTRUMENTS INC by 17%, accounting for approximately $57 million. In addition, the filings show that Polaris Capital purchased a new $1.9 million position in computer software company V2X INC.
In conclusion, Polaris Capital Management, LLC's latest 13F filings show a variety of changes, including new purchases and reductions in its holdings. While it's not exactly clear why the investment manager made the decisions, the filings provide an excellent overview of Polaris Capital's investment strategy.
