LongRange Capital Promotes Top Talent: Meet the New Managing Directors and Key Team Members

In an exciting development, LongRange Capital, a leading private equity firm with over $1.7 billion in assets under management, has announced the promotion of several team members, including two senior professionals, Sunny Patel and Mike Houy, to the prestigious position of Managing Director. This well-deserved recognition comes as LongRange continues to strengthen its platform and invest in businesses for long-term value.

Sunny Patel, who joined LongRange in 2021, focuses primarily on businesses in the non-discretionary consumer and data & information-based services sectors. He has played an active role in the firm's investments in Batesville and Peraton. Prior to joining LongRange, Mr. Patel was a founding member of the investment team at Navab Capital Partners. He also garnered extensive experience at 3G Capital, serving as the general manager of large consumer brands at Kraft Heinz. Furthermore, he held a Principal position at KKR, where he specialized in consumer and media & communications private equity investments.
Mike Houy, who became part of the LongRange team in 2022, primarily focuses on value-added industrials and manufacturing companies. He has been actively involved in the firm's investments in Batesville. Prior to joining LongRange, Mr. Houy worked as an investment professional at KPS Capital Partners, concentrating on private equity investments in global manufacturing and industrial companies.
Alongside these significant promotions, LongRange has also appointed Austin Marcus as Vice President and Vivaan Dave as Senior Associate, further strengthening its team of exceptional professionals.
