MB2 Dental Delivers Record 2023 Year-end Results; Achieves Significant Growth Across All Key Business Metrics

MB2 Dental, the leading dental partnership organization (DPO), has announced its impressive year-end results for 2023. The company achieved record levels of growth across all key business metrics, further solidifying its position in the industry.

Throughout the year, MB2 Dental added a total of 163 practices to its network, bringing the total number of practices within the MB2 Dental network to 663 by the end of the year. This growth included 150 new partnerships and 13 de novo locations developed in collaboration with doctor partners.

The composition of affiliated practices within the MB2 Dental network now includes 451 general dentistry practices, 117 orthodontic practices, 47 pediatric practices, 16 endodontic practices, 12 periodontic practices, and 20 multispecialty practices.

In addition to the practice acquisitions, MB2 Dental completed 17 practice remodels, adding 20 new operatories across 11 practice locations. The company also completed several expansions, adding over 8,000 square feet across seven practice locations.

The support team and headquarters of MB2 Dental experienced significant growth as well. The central services headcount increased with the addition of 115 employees serving in various support team positions. The company's payor strategy and procurement departments also saw notable growth, expanding payor relationships and implementing cost-control measures. These initiatives resulted in enterprise-wide same-store growth.

To accommodate the rapid operational and headcount growth, the support service office underwent a 9,000-square foot expansion. Additionally, MB2 Dental plans to add 16,000 square feet of space in a separate building adjacent to its headquarters, which will undergo renovation in the first quarter of the year.

Another area of focus for MB2 Dental in 2023 was the expansion of its multispecialty services. The company aimed to build a stronger presence in key markets to better serve patients in those areas. Phoenix, Arizona, was one such market that showed promising results, with doctor partners leveraging referral relationships to provide enhanced care. In terms of technology advancements, MB2 Dental unveiled its innovative intranet platform called Cerebro. This platform streamlines communications between doctors and employees, ensuring everyone stays informed about company news, events, and resources. Cerebro also functions as a social network for MB2 Dental's doctor partners, allowing them to engage in professional and personal conversations, fostering great communication network-wide.

MB2 Dental also successfully rolled out Inside Desk's revenue cycle management platform. This tool simplifies the process of collecting on insurance claims, providing automatic claim statuses and downloading Explanations of Benefits (EOBs). The platform offers robust workflow management and enterprise-level reporting, resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness in operations.

Furthermore, MB2 Dental engaged with three leading dental AI companies to provide its doctor partners with access to cutting-edge technology for excellent patient care.

Apart from business achievements, MB2 Dental also focused on making a positive impact. The company conducted its annual mission trip to Jamaica, where 20 doctor owners provided dental services to hundreds of patients in need. Additionally, through the MB2 Family Foundation, the company's charitable organization, MB2 Dental provided over $127,560 in relief funds to employees experiencing financial stress from unforeseen life-altering events.
