Franco Nevada Corp saw the second biggest percentage increase, of 18.4%, while Valvoline Inc and Moody's Corp both increased by over 14%.

On the other side of the coin, some stocks saw a reduction in their holdings. The biggest decrease came from Ardagh Metal Packaging SA, with a 6.7% reduction. This was closely followed by Genuine Parts Co, with a 10.8% reduction. Meanwhile, Schlumberger Ltd (SLB) saw a huge increase by almost 49%.

In conclusion, Schwartz Investment Counsel made some significant shifts in their holdings between Q3 2022 and Q4 2022. Texas Pacific Land Corporation remained their biggest holding, while they also maintained a stake in Texas Instruments Inc and Mastercard Inc. What's notable is the significant increase in the portfolio's value over just one quarter.
