The Swarthmore Group Inc is an institutional investment firm that primarily invests in publicly traded equities. Recently, the company released its Q1 2022 and Q2 2022 13F holdings comparison, which showed significant changes in the holdings of the company's funds.

The most notable change was the increase in holdings of the iShares Core S&P 500 ETF (IVV), which rose from 193,972 shares in Q1 to 373,601 shares in Q2, a change of 61%. The value of these holdings also increased significantly, from $88,003,000 in Q1 to $141,651,000 in Q2.

The SPDR S&P 500 ETF TR (SPY) also saw a significant increase in holdings, from zero shares in Q1 to 236,832 shares in Q2. The value of these holdings was $0 in Q1 and $89,345,000 in Q2.

However, not all holdings saw an increase. Apple Inc (AAPL) saw a decrease in holdings of 89.5%, from 80,723 shares in Q1 to 10,787 shares in Q2. The value of these holdings also decreased significantly, from $14,095,000 in Q1 to $1,475,000 in Q2.

Microsoft Corp (MSFT) and Alphabet Inc Cap Stock Cl A (GOOGL) also saw significant decreases in holdings, with MSFT decreasing from 47,552 shares in Q1 to 4,784 shares in Q2 (a change of 91.6%) and GOOGL decreasing from 5,120 shares in Q1 to 535 shares in Q2 (a change of 91.8%).

Other notable decreases in holdings include AbbVie Inc (ABBV), which decreased from 55,300 shares in Q1 to 4,076 shares in Q2 (a change of 93%) and Pioneer Natural Resources Co (PXD), which decreased from 22,808 shares in Q1 to 1,409 shares in Q2 (a change of 94.5%).

On the other hand, some holdings saw increases in value despite a decrease in the number of shares held. For example, Amazon.com Inc (AMZN) saw a 65.5% increase in the value of its holdings, despite only increasing from 72 shares in Q1 to 3,660 shares in Q2.

It's important to note that these changes in holdings are not necessarily indicative of the performance of the underlying companies themselves. Rather, they reflect the investment decisions made by the Swarthmore Group Inc based on their analysis of the market and the companies in question.

Overall, the Swarthmore Group Inc's Q1 2022 and Q2 2022 13F holdings comparison shows that the company has made significant investment decisions in the first half of 2022, with some holdings increasing dramatically in value and others decreasing sharply. As always, it will be interesting to see how these investment decisions play out in the market in the coming months.
