Through the TA-CORE program, young professionals from historically underrepresented racial and ethnic groups are given the opportunity to gain valuable experience, training, and career opportunities.

The TA-CORE program is a comprehensive initiative that aims to recruit, train, and provide career opportunities to young professionals from diverse backgrounds. Participants selected for the program have the opportunity to work with both Evercore and TA, gaining more than five years of experience in an entrepreneurial environment. This exposure enables them to build subject matter expertise, gain exposure to marquee transactions, and expand their professional networks.

To be eligible for the TA-CORE program, interested undergraduates must first participate in Evercore's Summer Analyst Internship Program. This program allows participants to learn about TA and the private equity industry through a series of learning sessions and networking activities, which supplement their internship experience.

Once accepted as a full-time Evercore Analyst, candidates can apply and interview for TA's three-year Associate Program, which begins after their two-year commitment to Evercore. As Associates at TA, selected individuals have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the firm's investment process, including deal origination, deal execution, and portfolio work within one of TA's five core industries.

Since its launch in 2021, the TA-CORE program has gained momentum, with a growing interest from young professionals. To date, three TA-CORE participants have been selected to join TA as Associates in 2024 and 2025, following their two-year placement with Evercore.
