Charger Investment Partners, a leading middle market private equity firm, is thrilled to announce the addition of three new hires who will play crucial roles in further expanding the firm's capabilities and driving its strategic direction.
Karen Parks, a highly experienced professional with over 15 years of private equity and M&A experience, has joined the firm as a Managing Director. In her new role, Ms. Parks will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and leading investments, as well as providing support to the portfolio and contributing to the firm's overall strategic vision. With her extensive background in the consumer and business services sectors, Ms. Parks brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to Charger Investment Partners.
Excited about her new position, Ms. Parks commented, "I am thrilled to embark on this new journey at Charger. Having invested with the firm's founders in the past, I have witnessed firsthand their commitment to identifying exceptional investment opportunities, executing growth plans, and creating long-lasting value. I am excited to bring my experience to the table, driving our shared vision forward and capitalizing on new opportunities."
Charger Investment Partners is equally excited to welcome Karen Parks to their team. Aaron Perlmutter, one of the founding partners, expressed his enthusiasm, saying, "We are so excited to welcome Karen as a key leader on our team. Over the years, I've had the privilege of witnessing Karen's natural ability to build long-lasting relationships and her growth as a strategic thinker. With Karen on board, we further Charger's commitment to our limited partners of operational excellence. Together, we will continue to drive our firm's mission, delivering value to our portfolio companies and investors."
In addition to hiring Ms. Parks, Charger Investment Partners has expanded its team further with two other key hires. Audrey Chambers joined as a new Associate on the Investment team, bringing her expertise from her previous position at Bain & Company. Yoni Sassoon, who held Vice President of Finance roles at private equity firms OpenGate Capital and Avante Capital Partners, has been appointed as the Vice President of Finance. These new additions significantly strengthen Charger's capabilities and position the firm for continued success.
Based in El Segundo, California, Charger Investment Partners specializes in investing in small and mid-sized companies primarily in the industrial, services, and consumer industries. The firm's extensive experience in building market-leading companies and an operationally focused, flexible capital approach sets Charger apart.
