Markon Launches New Government Services Firm to Support Federal Clients
Gracie Gottlieb | 21 June, 2023
Markon has recently announced its plans to spin off from Anser Advisory, its parent company, to become an independent government services firm. As a result of the spinoff, the firm will focus on providing critical mission support to federal clients in program management/construction management (PMCM), financial management consulting, and systems engineering. The firm has built up a wealth of experience in these areas, having worked with the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense (DoD), and civilian federal agencies.
With an ambitious vision and a talented team of experts at its disposal, Markon aims to continue supporting client missions and advancing national security. The company's leadership and personnel remain committed to providing innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of clients. This announcement coincides with Accenture's plans to acquire Anser Advisory.
Sterling Investment Partners and Markon management will retain Markon, which employs 280 people and has a proven track record of success and innovation. The company's Chief Delivery Officer, Raymond Carney, will act as CEO of the new firm, with Markon founder Matthew Dean staying on as Chairman. Through this move, Markon will continue to provide a high level of service and support to its clients, while also seeking new opportunities for growth and development.
