The Spectrum Management Group, LLC 13F Holdings have seen some significant changes between Q2 and Q3 of 2022. The firm, like all investment managers with over $100 million in assets, is required to file a 13F form with the SEC each quarter. These 13F filings provide a glimpse into the holdings of institutional investment managers, including stock positions, the number of shares held, and the total value of those shares. In this article, we'll take a closer look at the changes in Spectrum Management Group, LLC's 13F Holdings from Q2 to Q3 of 2022.
One of the most striking changes we see in the 13F Holdings is in the position for IUSB, an iShares Treasury Bond ETF. In Q2, Spectrum Management Group, LLC held just under 4,000 shares of IUSB. However, in Q3, the number of shares held skyrocketed to over 266,000. This move represents an increase of over 6,350%, making IUSB the largest single holding of Spectrum Management Group, LLC in Q3. Yet another change that caught our attention was the drop in XLK, the Select Sector SPDR Technology ETF. Spectrum Management Group, LLC held over 160,000 shares in XLK in Q2, but this number declined to just under 149,400 in Q3. This represents a decrease of over 13,000 shares, or just over 8.1%. The value of the holding also declined significantly, dropping from $20.4 million in Q2 to just over $17.7 million in Q3.
One area where we see a lot of growth is in the energy sector. Chevron (CVX) and Pioneer Natural Resources (PXD) both saw significant increases in the number of shares held by Spectrum Management Group, LLC between Q2 and Q3. Holding of CVX increased by over 23,000 shares, or just over 53.8%, while the holding of PXD increased by over 10,000 shares, or just over 26.2%.
